Now runs Marche Voyager, the official English-language web site of the Marche region’s tourism
department. He created the site in 1997and launched a German version in 2000.
His company - le-marche.com di Peter Greene - also created and still runs the official site for the Comune di Cagli and has developed a number of other sites including:
Launched Pietro Verdi, a small company selling own collection of men’s designer underwear on the web in 2000.

Worked as a freelance editor and press agent prior to moving to Italy in 1989. Clients included:

Was head of the press office for the South Bank Centre, including responsibility for Royal Festival Hall and Queen Elizabeth Hall from ‘84 to ‘87.
Was a senior press officer for the Greater London Council from ‘81 to ‘84, responsible for press
relations for arts, sports, transport and planning, including press for the London Marathon.
First job in the field was as press officer for London Borough of Hammersmith & Fulham from ‘79 to ‘81.

Wrote regular features for the Saturday travel section of The Independent between ‘87 and ‘89. Two examples:

Gained BA hons in art history & textile design at West Surrey college of art & design in 1977.
Also read psychology & drama at Hull University for two years.
Schooling at Catholic prep and grammar schools in Scotland and Southern England.
miscellany
Moved to Le Marche region of Italy in 1989 and started to restore an old Canonica, or priest’s house and parish church.
Despite serious damage in the 1997 earthquake, work is almost finished.
Now runs a holiday rental business in the former workers’ cottage and old chapel. Details here.
